packaging rules

This is an entirely separate competition and requires a separate bottle to be submitted. If you are entering both tasting and packaging competitions, one form of payment may be issued for both.

1. Packaging judging:

a. The packages will be judged by nationally recognized graphic design and public relations experts.
b. The judges have determined the following criteria for judging the packages:
- overall originality and creativity
- use of lettering
- use of graphics

2. Awards for the Packaging Competition will be mailed after the judging and will consist of Double Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in both the individual and series packaging competitions. The Competition reserves the right to photograph and reproduce any package accepted in the Competition in catalogues, posters, publications or our website, and publicity printed by the Competition. Each submitting producer assents to this condition.

3. To participate in the Packaging Competition, by February 22, 2008, you must send one complete package clearly marked "Packaging Competition" to:
